Alternatively titled "All my bags are packed, I'm ready to go..."

Tired of people nagging me to move to wordpress, I decided to try it. I set up my blog here and imported everything over. I'm very undecided

Pros of moving to wordpress

-It's prettier
-Easier
-Easy to go from there => self hosting

Pros of staying with Blogspot

-Been using it since April
-iTheme (theme I'm currently using which WP doesn't support)
-Everyone knows it's here

Thoughts?

MailChimp is a service that allows you to add email addresses for when you update a blog, it tells them. This is for my mum, who regularly logs on here*, and who's only complaint is that you get an awful feeling when there's no update. To counter that, she asked:

Is there any way you can just email me when there's a new post, cos I hate going to all the trouble and finding that there's nothing there!
-Mum

Being the awesome son I am *snigger*, I'm looking into just that. Step in MailChimp. The only thing is, it claims that they need a work address when you signup, to avoid spam. FailBurger if ever I saw one. I try..

Wish me luck!

UPDATE: No, MailChimp is a fail. By the power of Google, I found an eHow article that stated exactly how to do it, in Blog*Spot itself. Clever boy!

So, now, Mum gets a shiny email every time I post a blopost. Et Voila!

* Hello Mum! :) *waves*

So, we had Irish today, and what we had to do was take an English sentence and translate it into Irish. The two sentences in question were "I live in Cork" and "We live in Dublin"

Now, I don't live in Cork and we don't live in Dublin. I did, however, know someone who did live in Cork and Dublin. The result:

"Conaíonn Damien Mulley i gCork". Translates as "Damien Mulley lives in Cork"

and..

"Conaíonn Alexia i mBaile Átha Cliath". Translates as "Alexia lives in Dublin"

My tribute. If only could've slotted the Web Awards in somewhere... :)
