OK, sure, I'm back to school soon and whatnot, but I do actually love summer, the holiday now, not the season. I hate the season. Winter is my love, in that question.
Burt, you do have to admit that summer is awesome. When else in the year can you get up at 11:30, and still not have had breakfast. I'm reliably informed that pancakes are downstairs, but I mightn't have them. I don't know, maybe it's not having made them yourself...
I've borrowed the monitor from Patrick's room for a few days, just got it set up.
Patrick, yes, I will be uberly careful, and I know what your thinking, but, honestly, I break it, I bought it, although a commitment such as that wouldn't be necessary with the amount of care I'm taking.
(and BTW, look at it this way. I am risking you getting cross with me by posting about it here, I could just say nothing and then have it moved back by the 19th, which is when Jay comes home. However, if you still aren't OK with me using it, drop me an email and I'll stop using it.)
Things with the monitor are very different. I mean moving from a 13 inch laptop screen to a (I think) 22 inch monitor with trillions of colours is a pretty big change. The blogger interface which I'm using to type this up for example. On the laptop, I couldn't fit all the text file onto the screen, even by trying to move it. It was at it's smallest and still too big for the screen. Now with the new screen half of the screen is just wasted space. Blank. White.
I tried watching Blackadder on it a few minutes ago. OMG it's brilliant. Uberly brilliant. The English language hasn't invented a word to sum up the awesomeness of this.
