You might have read from a couple of my recent tweets that myself an the lunatic lovely brother of mine tried to set up a battlefield 1942 account together. Needless to say, we failed. I don't know who to blame. It'd go against my very nature to say something like "Mac fail" or similar. Could I do something like narrow my anger down to "Stupid Battlefield for Mac"? Therefore, I'm shifting the blame more on Battlefield more than Mac.
Yes folks. This is (admittedly unfortunately :P) what keeps me awake at night.
In other news....
1. Music in School
Those of us who play instruments in school (no slagging at anyone intended) were asked if we were willing to show off our talents next Music class (which is a lovely double period on Tuesday) I of course play drums and immediately volunteered (after making sure I wouldn't have to do like Chris (who plays guitar) and bring in my own instrument) Then again, which weighs more, a drum set or ear muffs for an entire class?
2. On, the subject of music...
For some reason, my favourite song is becoming Snow by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. And on that note, when did Chili only have one L? :/
3. Plans for tomorrow
Tomorrow will see me heading town-ward to O'Mahoney's with my €11 voucher (20 - a copy of the Hunchback of Notre Dame) and buying a copy of By Royal Command by Charlie Higson. Also known as Young Bond VI. It is (as you may have guessed) the fifth installment of the Young Bond series dealing with James Bond's childhood. Should be good.
4. Recommended App for iTunes
Sizzling Keys for Mac is a cool little application that displays a Growl-like bubble with a new song. It's handy as it eliminates the need for a mini player. And if you have the newer MacBook/(Pro)/Air you should find that the F7 - F12 keys are media keys, allowing you to switch and toggle between songs. The only thing that's missing is the ability to fast forward through songs. Small price, in my opinion
5. Is it just me...
...or do I look as if I'm about to sneeze in my photo at the top?
6. Finally...
I write this blog for you guys. The readers. If there's something you dislike, something like you hate the theme, or you find some of the things on the side unnecessary/tacky or I post too often, flooding your RSS feed, tell me
I'm brilliant and all, but one thing they didn't teach at school was mind reading. If there's something you dislike, do let me know, either in a comment or by using the details on the side.
Likewise, if I'm doing something especially good, I'd really appreciate it too if you got in touch and told me. It really makes my day for someone to say "Nice one T" or "Great blogpost".
Now, I'll stop, I'm becoming too much like my old teacher....
