By which I mean, I have 3 weeks and 3 days before my first day back at school. Apart from my school shirt, I have everything.
My apologies for not updating yesterday evening or earlier today. Today's been really busy. Remember I spoke about trying my sleep thing? I told Mum to wake me at 7:30, then let me go back to sleep. What happens? I get woken up at 9:30, which is dangerously close to the time I'd wake up naturally. I tried, and managed it, and re-awoke at 11:45. Again. I didn't like how close I came to not being able to return to sleep, so tomorrow I'll use my alarm on my phone.
After waking up at 11:45, Dad came into me and we went to breakfast. Afterwards, we packed the bike into the car and headed down to what is considered the "training" carpark. It's where everyone comes to learn something. Me to cycle, people to drive. (As a matter of fact, there was a girl there learning to drive as I was cycling around. I think we helped each other!)
Following a happy hour spent doing circles around the car park, we went home for lunch of rice and curry that had too much yoghurt in it.
Between the three of us, we had about 10 things to do in town, so that was our next stop. Myself and Mum went to get some of the uniform, while Dad bought a puncture repair kit and got his watch shortened. I managed to nip into O'Mahoney's and pick up my neat little copy of The Hunchback of Notre Dame, by Victor Hugo.
The text is small, but I don't find it a problem
